Edgewater Networks, Inc. Adds Douglas Wadkins
As Chief Technology Officer
Santa Clara, Calif. – May 27, 2004 – Edgewater
Networks, Inc., today announced that Douglas Wadkins has joined the
company as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Douglas will be responsible
for strategic alliances and helping to drive the future direction of
Edgewater’s products and technology.

Douglas joined Edgewater from Cisco Systems where he held a number of
positions including corporate business development and engineering and
marketing roles in the voice technology area. He came to Cisco via its
acquisition of Vovida Networks, a provider of call control software
for IP networks utilizing an open source business model. Douglas was
a member of the founding management team of Vovida. Prior to Vovida
Douglas was with Aspect Communications and Nortel Networks, where he
focused on leading global technical teams responsible for the company’s
information technology infrastructure and leading the Enterprise Networks
Software Business Unit. Prior to Nortel Networks Douglas served with
the United States Navy Submarine Command as an Operations Officer. He
holds an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering.
