Networks, Inc., today introduced the EdgeMarc 4300T enabling service
providers and enterprises to simplify, secure and scale their converged
networks. The 4300T is a WAN access router that integrates a T1 CSU/DSU,
a 4 port managed ethernet switch and on-board encryption accelerator
into a single device. It includes a comprehensive list of software features
designed to remove the complexity and expense usually associated with
deploying real-time applications such as voice and video on an IP network.

The 4300T is a powerful, flexible platform that can be deployed initially
as a WAN access router providing VPN and firewall functionality and
then licensed through software for more advanced VoIP features. These
include: a SIP, MGCP and H.323 application layer gateway to resolve
NAT/Firewall traversal issues, quality of service features that ensure
high quality voice and video, call quality monitoring, VoIP call admission
control and VoIP survivability. It supports several management interfaces
including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, SNMP V1 and V3.
