 Everyone is looking for the “solution that fits” – and of course “that works”. A fundamental aspect of the second part (i.e. that it works), is that it is also easy to work with. I wouldn’t, for example, recommend anyone to drive a nail into a wall with a sledgehammer (that would be overkill and probably cause a lot of damage – not to mention you’d likely pull a muscle). Nor would I expect someone to knock in the nail with a child’s toy hammer. You need the right tool for the right job.

Sprint Finally Adopts VoLTE, Clearing the Way for the End of 3G

VoLTE has been around since 2012, but major carriers have been slow to adopt it. While Verizon began to implement the service in 2014, AT&T didn’t inaugurate the service until two years later. Although It has since become the current ruling standard for high-speed wireless data, many regional and at least one national carrier have still resisted VoLTE implementation.

At Europe’s leading security event, IFSEC International, there was a poll of attendees to measure their attitudes towards voice technology and their company’s use of the voice channel to communicate with customers. Results showed that UK organizations have contradictory opinions towards the voice channel, increasing the chances of their customers’, employees’, and partners’ data being exposed to unauthorized parties.
